Everything here happened. The boards, the failures, the error messages and the fixes are my own work, on my own hardware, usually at my own expense in evenings and weekends.
I use AI tools while writing: turning a pile of build notes into an order that makes sense, tightening a paragraph, catching the thing I explained three times. The engineering is mine; some of the sentences had help.
If a post says something didn't work, it didn't work, and I was the one sitting there when it didn't.
Phoenix and Elixir. Posts are Markdown files in a git repository, read at runtime rather than
compiled in, so publishing is a git pull and a reload rather than a rebuild. Rendering is
MDEx, and the syntax highlighting is tree-sitter based — which is why Rust, Elixir and shell
come out as code rather than as flat grey text.
Fraunces for display, Newsreader for reading, JetBrains Mono for code and labels. The palette is graphite and Nordic light. The construction lines behind every page are a nod to a childhood spent around pencil drawings and oil paint.
